    Hi I was going to comment to see if it was possible to show everything included in each blog post, on the front page instead of needing a Featured Image and Text. For example, my blog already has tons of images and collages. I would hate to have to go back and create brand new featured images for each of my 200+ posts. Instead, I'd love to be able to see all of my images and collages (nothing being cut off) all together on the same page. I was reading all of the comments and say sylvain05's about NOT needing to have a Featured Image. If you can't help me with my request, I too would like the code if possible. I just bought your theme today :) My last question.. is there a way to remove the slider completely from Homepage 2? I want the posts and sidebar to start right underneath the header. The slider is also not working properly by the way. Thanks! :)

    it would be nice if a fruitless search would show a "no results found" message instead of a completely blank page, is there some way to realize that?

    Hello, I will add it in the next update, right now unfortunately not. You'd need to modify search.php and check if the query returns any results

    Hey Christi! I have a quick question on the Featured Image on Pages. I made an internal page, and set a featured image (just like blog posts), but nothing shows up. It's a full width page, and I'd love to have the featured image up top. After reading all the comments, it feels like I'm one of the few that actually likes the giant images across the top! Thanks!

    hey guys LOVE the look of the theme......one question before I purchase: Is it possible to change the background to a static, full page image on the homepage only? Just wondered whether this would be a small or big job in CSS terms for this theme? Thanks! Evan

    Hi, it's not hard, however, due to the way the theme was coded, the container doesn't have a color on it so changing the body background color / bg image to something else will result in something like this(of course, with another image, not color, like my demo) http://prntscr.com/4jrt3y

    Hi, I am trying to reduce the height of the featured image for the single posts. I can adjust the height by adding a height property but I can't get the image to resize - can you point me in the right direction? header.image-header { width: 100%; */ height: 200px; \* float: left; background-size: cover; padding: 40px 0 300px; text-align: center; position: relative; } Also, is there anyway to change the width of the widget sidebar and to alter the facebook widget (it always shows a white box which looks a little amateurish)? And finally, can I add typekit fonts and if so, how do I go about it? Thanks! Alex.

    Hi, what's your URL? As for the sidebar, you can add or reduce it with one grid size( 1 column out of the 12 of what the default grid has) As for the typekit fonts, as far as I know, they provide instructions on how to load their fonts and it should work fine with the theme

    You can edit the 300px value in style.css

    header.image-header {
      width: 100%;
     */ height: 200px; \*
      float: left;
      background-size: cover;
      padding: 40px 0 300px;
      text-align: center;
      position: relative;
    }

    for the sidebar you'll just need to edit the php files and change the class, e.g. instead of col-sm-4 you can put col-sm-5... make sure left + right divs make 12 columns, if summed up to center the categories name, you can add this code
    .widget ul li {
    text-align: center;
    }

    I am digging around and playing with this these, and so far I LOVE it, but I have a few things I need a little help with. 1 - I'm on layout #4 and the background image isn't loading. Neither is the custom background color. I've seen a few questions and threads about this... 2 - I would LOVE to change the default text color from WHITE to BLACK on header #4. Is there a way to do this with some custom CSS? 3 - Can I reduce the featured image size on the homepage? I added new featured images to the sample data posts and instead of displaying long and short, they zoomed in and kept the large size. 4 - I downloaded the REDUX plugin, but have no idea how to use it. When I turned on the demo config, I like the options, but it's a demo/sample. So I turned off the demo config, but it still says developer mode. I don't have the same options. I'm so lost. :-/ I'll send you my login info for the site so you can take a look. Thank you so much!! Blake

    Hi there! 1 and 2 are fixed for 3, you can edit the height in style.css

    .normal-slider article {
      float: left;
      height: 700px;
      position: relative;
      width: 100%;
      background-repeat: no-repeat;
      background-position: center center;
      background-size: cover;
      text-align: center;
      padding: 10px 30px;
      overflow: hidden;
      -webkit-transition: all .4s ease-in-out;
      -moz-transition: all .4s ease-in-out;
      -o-transition: all .4s ease-in-out;
      transition: all .4s ease-in-out;
    }

    4) you don't need to download that plugin, as it's already included in the theme, you can disable the plugin

    .normal-slider article { height: 400px; } Can I just put the above code into the custom CSS panel in the theme customizations section? Also, thank you so much for your help! When the header text turned to black, it's MUCH easier to read, but I lost the color change when hovering. Can I get the gold/brown color back? Which file do I need to edit to make that happen? (I don't want to keep asking you to change things for me - that's a lot of work for you, my friend)

    Hi, you can try that. If it doesn't work, try adding !important before ; For the other one, add:

    .variation-4 .menu a:hover {

    }

    Made no difference. Could it be that I'm using the imported demo data xml? I LOVE that I still have the white menus and brown/orange hover on the individual posts though. Looks SO great. I'm still digging through things to see where it might be getting stuck. I even edited the style.css file to reflect the 400px instead, but it made no difference. Strange. We'll get to the bottom of this soon enough! :-)

    Hi there, Fantastic theme, thanks! Just a few questions: 1) Is it possible to adjust the featured image on the front page and post page to 500px in height, now it seems a bit to high, width is fine. I’m fine with uploading it in the suggested default dimensions. 2) I like the layout with a big featured image, but it would be great if one could click on the image to get to the post, not just by clicking the title. How can I adjust that? 3) I adjusted the logo size, but the problem is now that it looks too big in the mobile version, how can I adjust that? 4) Sharing buttons with Header Option 3 look great, but not on the mobile screen (I’m using Samsung Galaxy S3 with Android 4.1.1). Could you provide an update with the commonm sharing buttons for mobile phones (the 3 points with two lines) 5) What’s the defalt width of a post in full width format for desktop without sidebar? 6) Is it all retina ready and all buttons and pictures should be uploaded in double resolution? Many thanks for the support! murphypi

    HI there, fantastic theme so far, really been enjoying it. However I do have a couple things needing to be amended. 1. The slider is quite buggy. Rather than displaying the most recent post, it is displaying the oldest and when you click the arrow it just skips over the most recent and goes to the same one again. More importantly however, would would be the best way to manually determine which posts go into the slider? Even if I have to go into the code and specify which postID each time, that would be totally, just need to be able to choose which posts actually show up there and in which order. 2. On the single post page the logo is out of line with the menu icon. I'd like to line this up properly but can't seem to find where to do that. Please advise. Thanks very much!     $args['posts_per_page'] = 4;

    add after:
    $args['post__in'] = array(1,2,3,4);

    to include the posts with the ids 1, 2, 3 and 4 it will order them by the published date
