Hello, First of all thank you for the purchase and I'm sorry for this issue! To be honest it is a pretty strange problem I've never experienced in the past, but I'll do my best to fix it. I'm afraid I'll need to log in to your admin for further help, because I need to check out the console and the source code in order to find out what's wrong. A temporary user account with administrator role would be perfect for me. Once the issue fixed you just simply delete my account and say good bye. Feel free to send me the details of the account in case you find this way acceptable. Regards,
    Mark

Thank you for the log in details, I checked out the mentioned issue and you are right, the custom icon field doesn't work indeed. Unfortunately it is late night in my country, but it will be my first thing to do tomorrow morning. The problem will be fixed until tomorrow noon ( GMT +2 ) anyway. In the future feel free to send me message via the contact form on my profile page or write a mail at [email protected]

Hello, I would like to be able add HTML tags such has or

etc to the headers' Welcome message, just so I cant style it better so it fit my needs. I want more than 1 line of text and different sizes. Is it Wordpress that strips html tags or is it the editor? I would really appreciate your help. There is also another small bug I encounter, the top navigation appears when I scroll back to the top fast enough, it sticks right on top of the hamburger menu and hides it. it doesn't do it when I scroll back to the stop slowly though. Any idea on how I could fix this? Thank you for the very nice looking theme!

Hello, First of all, thank you for the purchase and I'm really sorry for the delayed response. I must admit that I didn't care too much about my buyers in the last month due to a job that consumed all my time including weekends. Now, I'm back and here to help you, so let's go through your issues. 01) Yes, html tags are not allowed everywhere. It is not a bug, those elements aren't allowed because Themeforest wants authors to develop as secure themes as possible, therefore we need to sanitize all outputs with esc_attr() that removes html tags. Sometimes it is very annoying, but there is a good reason behind this rule. There a few buyers who know how to use html tags properly, but the majority of the users are more-less a simple end user with little or zero html knowledge. We filter the output to prevent those users broke their own website. Just imagine what happens if someone adds az unclosed div element to the content... Anyway, I can let you know how to trick the system, but please let me know the exact options where you want to utilize html tags. 02) That navigation issue sounds interesting. I just tried out the demo site, I scrolled as fast as possible but I didn't experience the problem you mentioned. May I take a look at your site? Maybe there is something specific that happens only on your side. Regards,
    Mark

Yes I found that the theme didn't fit my needs as I have good knowledge in HTML CSS and jQuery and I felt the customizations were limited. Is it possible to get a refund? if not it's fine I just wanted to let you know. The design itself is great and it is a good template for those who just want to use the default stuff but I had too many changes in mind and I have found another template that let me add css and javascript easily.

Hello, In normal cases, I refund my buyers only if the theme is broken or doesn't work the way I advertised, but this time I make an exception. I'm not so familiar with the buyer side, but there should be a refund button on the downloads page. If you ask a refund, I'll accept it. Last but not the least, I'd like to mention that there is a html version of this theme that might fit better to your needs :) Regards, Mark

Hello, First of all thank you for your interest in my product! :) In default I do not include demo content because I would like my buyers to learn the theme through tutorial videos instead of messing with the demo content. I know it sounds a bit strange since the 99% of authors pack their themes with demo content, but I truly believe that getting involved step by step results a more effective knowledge. Anyway, even thought I don't include the demo xml, I'm open to send it in email to anyone if needed. Feel free to write me at [email protected] in case you need the demo content. Regards,

Quick question: have you selected the menu for the proper theme location? There are two menu locations: Homepage Menu and Inner Pages Menu. The issue you mentioned used to happen if none of the locations are selected. If you are selected your menu for one of the locations, I'll check out the code a bit deeper in order to find out what's wrong.

The updated version will be uploaded soon, but the review process will take some time, so please try to replace the default scripts/mobilemenu.js with this one manually in the meantime. It should fix the problem, but please let me know how it goes on your side.

Hi! I've been having a bit of trouble when it came to creating my own Custom Post Types within the FlatApp theme. It's been generating some errors, where if you create a post within a Custom Post Type, it doesn't correctly generate to the website. I've tried it with the pre-packaged Custom Post Types (such as Features, Fun Facts, etc.) as well as my own Custom Post Type (Series). It shows up like this (I've turned the debugging feature of WordPress on) on both my local server and on the staging server: https://gyazo.com/ab626448eb6c51cf1363d61297a6d12d It generates the template (header), but not the correct breadcrumbs, body is blank, and there's no footer. Single.php works but no other CPTs work (doesn't print the $post data either). I've tried it on a child theme and a parent theme. Thanks!

Hello Doreen, First of all thank you for the purchase and I'm sorry for this very late reply. :( The theme display the contents of the mentioned custom post types in the relevant homepage sections. These are very special post types and they don't have single pages. For instance the features post type was created to help you display features of the app. Just take a look at the features section of the demo site. There are six features listed and there is a phone mockup in the middle of the page. I think it would be quite weird to display for example the "Retina Ready" feature on a single page, am I right? This is the reason why those post types don't have their single pages. If you want to have a single page for your very own post type, you will need to create its file. The file name should contain the slug of the post type. If the slug of the post type is 'doreen_type', the file name will be single-doreen_type.php. More info here. Regards,
    Mark

Hi Magna Themes, It's no problem. Thanks for taking the time to respond! I've already tried making a single template (such as single-doreen_type.php) I wrote up my problem and my attempts to fix it: ~~~~~~~ Problem: Attempt to implement a template for the 'Series' Custom Post Type but single-series.php wasn't registering in the WordPress hierarchy. It doesn't output words from the WYSIWYG editor, nor does it take on the single-series.php template. Looking at a single post from a CPT (say, 'Meet X Author' in the 'Series' CPT), the post leads to an empty page and the wrong template. The CPT is registering properly (if you look at phpMyAdmin within the DB, the CPT is being saved onto the DB). When we attempt to view the post, the URL leads to something, but it's not leading to the RIGHT something. If you look at the rewrite rules, it's being written with the wrong rules (?) ~~~~~~~ What I did: - Wrote my own CPT within the FlatApp theme - Wrote my own CPT within the FlatApps plugin - Tested single pages with the already pre-packaged Custom Post Types (Fun Facts, etc (debunked by MagnaThemes - they generate to the homepage) - Fresh install of WP. - Fresh install of DB. - Used both the parent theme and the child theme. - Flushed rewrite rules (http://wordpress.stackexchange.com/questions/123401/where-when-how-to-properly-flush-rewrite-rules-within-the-scope-of-a-plugin) - overwriting htaccess settings - overwriting http.conf - Tried changing permalink format - Tried to deactivate the plugin and test out my own CPT. - Tried to deactivate and reactive the FlatApp plugin. - Tried to print out the metadata from single.php and it worked (metadata is the set of data for each post in this instance). When I tried to print out the metadata for single-series.php it didn't show / shows nothing. == if it shows nothing that means it's retrieving nothing ~~~~~~~ What I think the problem is: somewhere within the WordPress hierarchy, the CPT isn't connecting to single.php. likely, something is deficient in the front-end initialization or the wordpress router -- but what? == rewrite issues -> templates aren't being properly applied so somewhere they're lost within the hierarchy / or they're disabled and everything must go through single (latter is most likely)

So I figured that somehow WordPress isn't registering custom templates (single-doreen_type.php, for example) due to maybe rewrite rules? Thank you so much for reading! I understand it's a complicated problem when it's usually relatively easy to solve.. not too sure why there's rewrite issues, or why the WordPress hierarchy isn't registering single-any_custom_templates.php. I've never ran into this problem with any other themes oddly enough.

Hi, Registering a new post type is an easy to understand yet quite complex thing and there are several pitfalls that can result the mentioned problem. For the first glance I would say there must be a spelling mistake in the code or the in the filename of the single template file. I know it sounds odd, but these two causes are the most common. Anyway, may I check the code you wrote? Maybe I'll be able to find out what's wrong. You could create me a temporary user account ( with administrator role ) and an ftp connection to the wp-content folder ( because I need to reach both the plugin and theme files as well ). A bit more info about your exact goals with the custom post type also would be great. Regards,

I'll include the child theme that I used as well as the parent theme (that only contains Series CPT + single-series.php) on our staging server In the meanwhile, I've checked again -- It might be a spelling mistake in the code? but it shows up as blank (https://gyazo.com/3f13d566915898e5870f0b24fe8ab790 ) even with nothing in the code (https://gyazo.com/25713ed6f85e8d5cb803921f5733b0ff ). I can understand your goal absolutely, but simply there is no space for one more feature. Actually that section looks good only if you show exactly six features around the phone, nothing less, nothing more. I'm sorry, I know it is a bit restrictive, but there are several sections that you might fit your goals. Feel free to write me anytime in case you need my assistance! :) Regards,
