Is it possible to to search by more than just address or description? Most in the US would probably need MLS search. So I guess my question is - how customizeable is the search feature in your template? Great work by the way!!

This is my first time experimenting with a WordPress site…so far, it’s been ridiculously easy to customize. However, having only one image per post is definitely a drawback. I’m still searching for a cool gallery plug-in to compliment the clean design. @contempoinc I’d love to see something along these lines in the near future.
Thank you for your purchase, a jQuery powered image gallery is definitely something that is doable I'll keep it in mind for future releases.

I'd like to create a blog and I found the instructions you posted in the comments section here. I can locate template.php but I can't find single.php or page.php. Can you advise which folder it is in - the direct path to get there? Thank you! I am a total newbie.

It takes a little bit of coding but here is a screencast on using the jFlow plugin for jQuery and the loop code you would need to use to grab your posts. http://nettuts.com/videos/screencasts/using-the-wonderful-jflow-plugin-screencast/ http://www.pastie.org/507363

"You would need to do if then elseif statement with the city, state and zip variables, that’s all I can really explain that’s a little beyond the scope of my free support. In regards to the map you would need to look through the Google Ajax Search Maps Developers Guide" Thanks for all your help Chris - I really appreciate you taking the time to answer the questions I have posed. But I am a little perplexed why you won't provide the "then elseif" statement. I was able to figure out how to show the satellite map control no problem. But I am not a programmer so that would be very difficult for me to figure out. You are providing a map search function with your theme, but not allowing for circumstances where we don't have the full address. My site is a real estate site but not a traditional one. There are times when I will only have the state; not the city or zip. There should either be something set up to show the state map in those circumstances, or, to show a default sentence like "We're sorry but we do not have map information for this property" instead of the WRONG map location. I think displaying the wrong map location is a big problem and discredits the site. I would highly recommend you allow for this discrepancy in your code. As for me, I will take my question to the developers forum, where they are always happy to assist. Peace, Julie

Simple question. I have never used wordpress and now wondering if I buy thie template can i use dw cs4 to modify it. Secondly does the html version have the same features as google mapping etc? If so then no need for me to mess with word press :) BY the by we have created a perl module to move the google map icon if it is land or addressed wrong by simpley clicking the map in an admin. I wil see what it would take to reprogram that module as a stand alone and offer that here a as solution for mapping issues. It uses mysql

Yes, you can use DW CS4 to modify however I recommend using the code view and not the WYSIWIG Visual editor. The HTML version does not include the mapping function.

Hello! Great theme - The design and the driving code are both quite elegant. I do have a problem though. I want to have a rotating gallery on the front page and also lightbox powered images in the listings.. This should be quite simple for me, as I have done it on many sites - however, your theme seems to be stopping the code from working all the way.. I am getting strange results. http://www.solgproperties.com incase you can help. Thank you!

Are you trying to add a slider to the home page large image area? For the lightbox style photos I'd recommend using "PrettyPhoto":http://www.no-margin-for-errors.com/projects/prettyPhoto-jquery-lightbox-clone/

Hi Each page is limited to 10 pics. Can I change this to unlimited or better still have a paging facility. BTW there is a wordpress plugin available called search everything this overwrites the code for the existing search and allows you to search by zip, type, price or whatever you like - simple and brilliant and my customer is over the moon Regards Allan Ashton

You can modify how many listings show up per page in the admin under Settings > Reading > Blog pages show at most > Enter your amount

"In order for Categories to show you must have at least 1 post assigned to them, its just a function of Wordpress." I understand that.. I am still having trouble with 'New listings' disappearing.. got them up at the moment though...

Let's try this one! http://www.dallashomesonline.net/?p=60 A very long list is produced, and not tabbed, using your theme but if I try the default theme, it is within a box and tabbed by categories. What can I do to change this? I want to use your theme instead of another one, but do want this list to be shorter! Thanks!

I can't really help to much with third-party plugins, but it might be a script conflict with whatever that tabbed table is using and the scripts used in the theme.

Thanx for the answer, it helped me on half of my problem. The states are showing fine now, but the googlemap can't locate the place correctly, it is still showing some place in the US. Do you have any clues on that? Thank you for your help

Make sure that you're entering all the address information, if the address isn't found it will default to that location you're seeing.

I purchased this in January and was getting ready to use it and when I downloaded it and tried to upload to WP I get an error. When I looked at the files in the zip file it looks like it's the $14.00 HTML template you sell, not the WordPress file. How do I get the WP file that I paid for?

The main zip file includes both the HTML template (bonus item) and the WP theme files, make sure you upload the realestate folder.

Hi Chris, Excellent theme! I'm also having the well-discussed image problem for listings/thumbnails. I've sent you a PM here on ThemeForest. The url is http://myrtlegrovevillage.com I've checked the usual suspects: GL Library, 777 Folder permissions, HostGator issue with mod_security, etc. Thanks, Will

I'm having problems using the theme in the UK. As well as the display issue I have mentioned above, the Google maps section only has US states so the map doesn't display properly. Also, prices shown are in dollars and the home types, Condo, for instance is not a word we use in the UK. I will probably with a bit of digging around (I'm new to PHP and Wordpress) be able to find where the dollar sign is and change it to pounds and I will most likely be able to find the home types and make them more "English", but the maps is a problem - as is the display problem shown above. Please offer some advice.

You'll find all the custom fields inside of functions.php, you'll see an array at the top. For the Google Maps to work you'll most likely need more address or different address information, which you can modify inside of single.php on line 84, or you can disable the map completely by removing lines 163-172 in single.php
